How long does it take to really get to know someone? Personality questionnaires let you fast-track the process by getting to the heart of individual motivation, decision making style, team-working, leadership approach and other areas that are key to work and personal success.
Whether applied to selection, development or guidance, our tools are the starting point for profound insights into what makes us unique. The rapid growth in the use of personality questionnaires, and their proven validity, attest to their importance in the modern assessor’s toolkit. Used sensitively, they provide a language to talk about differences in insightful and constructive ways.
Two powerful perspectives
Bringing together the most widely used personality models for both selection and development, the Profiling for Success (PfS) assessments combine thorough and reliable measurement with a range of comprehensive reports.
Based on Psychological ‘Type’, the Type Dynamics Indicator (TDI®) and Learning Styles Indicator (LSI) let you explore how individual preferences relate to work styles, communication, team roles, learning and much more. Both of these questionnaires are extremely useful in personal development and can also form the basis for effective team building events.
The Fifteen Factor Questionnaire+ (15FQ+™) is an up-to-date ‘Trait’ based measure of personality. It provides a broad view of interpersonal and influencing styles, thinking and decision making, and managing pressure and stress. As with the TDI®, it can be used in development, but it is of particular value as part of a graduate or executive selection process.
We also provide access to two trait questionnaires that are outside the PfS system. These are the NEO Personality Inventory (NEO PI-R™), a world-class personality questionnaire; and the Hogan Development Survey (HDS™). The HDS is fast becoming the standard for exploring management ‘derailment’ and features widely in many management development and coaching interventions.
Emotional Intelligence
Finally we provide a contemporary measure of emotional intelligence. The Emotional Intelligence questionnaire (EIQ3D) brings together individual and interpersonal competencies in a coherent and authoritative way. It looks at how self-understanding interacts with ‘social’ management; and also provides a way for another person to comment on an individual’s key competencies. The EIQ3D is specifically designed for development purposes and can form the corner stone of many coaching activities.
