We use 360° techniques to gather information on an individual from peers, managers, customers and reports. Analysing what competencies are needed for a job and what training needs an individual has allows us to design the right intervention. For senior staff this may be individual coaching programmes. For others it may be the creation of a development plan or, through our experience, the identification of a specific, focused training programme.

These techniques can also be used with groups of people. We are experts in the use of FIRO, one of the most powerful team and relationship building techniques available. An effective performance management or appraisal system is essential to allow a new culture to bed in.
We recruit people to the organisation or Internally
Sometimes you will need new staff. At other times you need to add someone to a team without changing its culture. We use assessment to define roles, organisational and team culture and critical issues predicting success. Only then do we recommend a selection process combining interview skills, a particular range of tests or the design of job simulations or of a bespoke assessment centre. Because of our skills in development planning, we’ll sometimes save you time by showing you that the solution is right under your nose.

Understanding staff attitudes before you make major changes can save time, money and reduced performance later. A well-designed survey can achieve this.
We develop psychometric tests and other standardised assessment techniques
When working with people, whether selecting them, developing them or putting them together into a team, accurate assessment is
often a crucial first step. Over the years, we have developed a large number of specialised assessment techniques for this purpose. These
range from structured assessments and observations through to fully standardised psychometric tests.
Our psychometric tests cover the fields
of ability, personality and self-development and can be administered in either pencil-and-paper versions or online via our new internet-based
assessment facility known as 'Profiling for Success'. We also act as distributors for a number of psychometric tests and questionnaires from
other publishers.
We transfer our skills to you
We run British Psychological Society Level A and B courses which allow psychologists and non-psychologists to use tests. As we say, testing is only part of our expertise and our Continuous Improvement series covers areas from giving feedback and coaching to best recruitment practice and how to use competencies.
In all these areas we use technology to add efficiency, speed and effectiveness. Many of the instruments we use – including 360º feedback, competency analysis, appraisal system design – are created and delivered online. Our new service – Profiling for Success – makes powerful, technically excellent assessments available online. However, choice of delivery method will always be decided on the basis of your organisational culture.

our international contacts mean that we have associates in the USA, Germany, Switzerland and Japan and regularly deliver our services in French, German, Italian and Japanese.
