Mergers and acquisitions

A merger or acquisition does not involve simply the integration of services, products, premises and facilities. More than anything else, it involves an integration of the people from the organisations involved. How well this people integration process is managed will be the critical determinant of success.

  • The pre-merger stage in which we help you audit the skills and competencies of your staff and assess the quality of communication in the pre-merged organisations
  • The immediate post-merger stage where we survey opinion, conduct 360 degree feedback appraisals, assist with your assessment centres and set up performance management systems
  • The first year post-merger stage where we focus on team development and the development of coaching skills, feedback skills and other individual competencies
  • The subsequent years where we continue to survey opinion and set up continuous impovement programs and personal development exercises.
