Level B intermediate (FIRO) courses

We provide several Firo courses as shown below

Firo Interpersonal Relationship Measures - This course qualifies you to register and use a range of questionnaires which focus on peoples relationship needs. There are no BPS pre-requisites unless you require a BPS qualification.

On completion of the 3 day workshop you will be registered to purchase and use Will Schutz's latest FIRO instruments, B-Behaviour, F-Feeling and S-Self - questionnaires which provide depth to the exploration of Emotional Intelligence.

More than a set of questionnaires, this course helps you to work with the ideas and the emotions that people inevitably experience in their interpersonal relations. The learning is highly experiential and can be quite profound. For those who want Level B Intermediate you will also need to attend the FIRO Conversion Day.

Firo Advanced Training - This is a course for people who have completed the FIRO Interpersonal Relationship Measures course (see above). It explores the applications of these measures including Team Development and Concordance Decision Making. On completion of this workshop you will end gain a qualification known as Phase I which is recognised world-wide by FIRO practitioners and enables you to join a global FIRO network.

Firo Element B - Qualify for the BPS Level B Intermediate Certificate. This is a course for counsellors, therapists, coaches and Intermediate Level B qualified practitioners who wish to qualify to purchase and use this latest, updated version of FIRO-B.

You will learn the depth of Will Schutz's Theory of Interpersonal Relations. You will also learn how the profoundly simple presentation of the original FIRO-B has become a model with extraordinary depth. On completion of this one day workshop you will be registered to use the latest FIRO Element B questionnaire and become aware of the deeper significance which provides the springboard into some of the issues with Emotional Intelligence.

Firo Conversion to Level B Intermediate - For the Level B Intermediate qualification you will also need to attend the FIRO® Conversion Day that is now incorporated into the 2nd day of the FIRO® Element B course. This course covers the more technical aspects of FIRO and you are formally assessed on your administration, feedback and interpretation skills.
