This is a qualification for using ability and aptitude tests and is recognised by
the major test publishers. The first step in developing your expertise in the use
of ability tests is to attend our Level A course in Occupational Testing.
We use different methods to ensure that:
- you understand assessment issues
- you can critique/evaluate the wide range of tests from different publishers
- you are aware of the benefits and pitfalls
- you can implement test usage both fairly and ethically
By becoming Level A qualified, you will gain a sound understanding of the underlying principles and uses
of ability and reasoning tests and will learn to administer, score, interpret and report on a selection of tests - both
on-line as well as on-paper.
You will become familiar with a range of psychometrics tests from different publishers
which will help you to choose between different instruments. At Team Focus we do not
only focus on tests for selection - learn how ability tests are used for development and
guidance as well. You will also be presented some free material for your immediate use.
