16PF applied using team roles and career themes

The aim of this course is to encourage a fuller understanding and use of the 16PF®.

Since the 16PF® has been substantially researched, it is able to suggest a whole range of possible ideas with regard to the person’s style, energy and interest. The result is that you will be able to write fuller, more in-depth reports and be able to suggest and challenge individuals more extensively when interviewing and giving feedback.

Our aim is to also help people who may have become a little stuck in terms of their own interpretation style. The focus of the course is the 16PF® personality model and so applies to both 16PF4 and 16PF5 users.

During the training you will:

  • learn how others use 16PF® and their issues so that you can maximise the value you get from the questionnaire

  • clarify the range of meanings of the individual factors and any differences between 16PF4 and 16PF5

  • learn to write more in-depth reports using alternative headings which develop occupational themes

  • learn about the research into Career Themes and Team Roles and how to use this in report writing and feedback/reviewing with the individual

  • build your interpretation skills by discussing profiles with the group and your tutor

  • explore the issue of validity and how you can apply it to your own use

  • make comparisons with other instruments of interest to the group

The course is designed for those who have already studied 16PF® and wish to develop their skills further. This will include people who have:

  • done the qualifying training but did not get through to completion of the certificate requirements

  • studied/qualified in 16PF® a long time ago and want renewed stimulation and ideas

  • a strong commitment to Continued Professional Development
